If you're on social media at all (especially on TikTok) then you probably saw the Grimace Shake that went pretty viral last year. It has now made it here to Japan, and it's great that it comes in two sizes (the small is 170 yen, and the medium is 240 yen). The purple color of the shake is thanks to the blueberry flavoring -- the specific taste is blueberry yogurt, and it's quite zingy and refreshing for a shake option. The cup design is very cute, too, and takes me back to my childhood a little bit!

The product only contains 1% blueberry juice, and it would have been nice to see that amount a little higher. I think overall I prefer other, more classic shake flavors like vanilla or chocolate rather than this blueberry yogurt one, but it was still fun to try. If you like embracing social media trends then I would recommend checking this drink out at your local McDonalds -- I'm not sure how much longer it'll be on their menu for, so head in to your nearest store while it's still available. Hope you enjoy it if you do end up giving it a try!
