Hanami dango: possibly my favorite springtime treat

Do you have a favorite springtime sweet here? I know that some things are very much limited-time only, like unique convenience store sweets that pop up for a really limited window, never to be seen again. However, some things are a springtime staple each year, and one thing I always like to grab when I see it at local supermarkets or convenience stores is hanami dango.

There are several reasons I love them, and the first is probably the visual appeal element. The pretty pink, white, and green colors just feel spring-like, so it helps make me feel like the season is really here. Secondly, they are nice for those days where you want a sweet treat but it doesn't need to be super sugary. These give me the sweets fix without being too unhealthy, and the satisfying chew makes it feel quite satiating.
